An important message for nontheistic Americans: please vote on Nov. 7
Nov. 2, 2006 - The Secular Coalition for America encourages all of its eligible supporters to make your voices heard in the most effective way possible. This Tuesday you have the opportunity to choose representatives who will respect our secular form of government and the rights of nontheistic Americans. The SCA does not endorse particular candidates or parties. We do encourage you to consider the issues we have addressed during the 109th Congress to inform your vote: stem cell research, religious discrimination in federally funded programs, military proselytizing, vouchers, civil marriage, access to legal pharmaceuticals, fact-based sex education, and other positions we have alerted you to throughout the year.
Your contacts when Congress is in session are essential supplements to our advocacy efforts; however, the most powerful way to secure our rights is by electing a Congress which respects those rights. Please vote.
