On Monday, June 9, 2008, come join us and your fellow citizen lobbyists for a wonderful opportunity to make your voice heard in Congress. This year's Secular Coalition for America Lobby Day is scheduled to follow the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) 17th World Humanist Congress and American Humanist Association (AHA) 67th Annual National Conference at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C.

During last September's Lobby Day, the Secular Coalition for America helped nontheist constituents from around the nation educate their elected officials on issues important to our community. It was a huge success! Your participation this year will help to further increase the visibility and respectability of nontheistic viewpoints and protect the secular character of our government. Don’t miss your chance to be a lobbyist for a day. The key ingredient is you.
Lobby Day participants are strongly encouraged to attend the Lobbying Workshop at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7 in Ballroom D at the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel. The workshop will help prepare you for a successful visit to Congress on Monday. There is no charge for conference attendees; for the workshop only, the fee is $15 payable upon admission. A second overflow workshop may be added on Sunday, June 8 if needed.
Sign up for Lobby Day using the form below. To ensure that we have plenty of time to schedule your visit to your Congressional Representative and Senators, the deadline is May 23, 2008.
